I have done a few minor mods to my past computers but I wanted something different. I wanted to do a scratch build. I had been brainstorming ideas for quite some time but none of them really seemed to "pop" so to speak. Until one day I was sitting at home with my wife and she was playing her acoustic guitar. Then it hit me! I would build a 1:1 scale guitar with a computer inside it! I popped open SketchUp and started brainsorming some ideas. Within a day or two I had a rough design for what I wanted to build. The pics below are the design ideas from SketchUp.

The base is made from carbon fiber and fiberglass while the body itself is made from translucent green acrylic. The neck and head are made from transparent red acrylic and the strings are made from clear acrylic rod and lit from both ends with RGB LEDs.
